Mission Statement

The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) basic mission is to love the Lord our God and to extend that love to all people everywhere so that we may all know God's grace.

As a community of faith, we believe that each person is free to search for life's meaning and purpose through a responsible commitment to God in Christ. We strive to provide an atmosphere that is conducive to this personal spiritual growth and maturity. The Holy Bible is our Guide and Jesus Christ is our Foundation.

We are in agreement with all Christians in our belief in the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the conviction that the Bible is the guide to understanding the will of God for our lives. However, we do not teach a particular "brand" of faith. Rather, we seek to enable personal growth in the knowledge of God. We believe that each person must assume responsibility for his or her own faith and we allow the necessary freedom for that personal faith development. You too can grow in the love of knowledge of God...that's our prayer.
