The Christian Church in Kalamazoo is a part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), a Protestant denomination of nearly 800,000 members in the United States and Canada. It's one of the largest faith groups founded on American soil.  Our Michigan Region Christian Church provides fellowship, service, organizational connections that we highly prize.  It is through the Region's  church camping program and ministry training programs that our congregation is so enriched.

In the Kalamazoo area, we are actively involved in Interfaith Strategy for Advocacy and Action in the Community (ISAAC) [no website yet] that is drawing the community together to corporately act on issues of justice and equality. ISAAC is affiliated with the Gamaliel Foundation, a congregationally based community organizing resourcing network.

We are active in the Food Resource Bank (food development programs) , Ministry with Community (feeding the homeless), Re-member (a ministry to the Lakota people on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation)
